Farmer Angel Network hosted a private showing of the "Green and Gold" movie at Center Cinema. It was great turnout with 80 farmers, farm workers, agribusiness folks coming together to watch this Wisconsin-based movie.
Participants received free admission, resources, and free Culvers custard token. The event kicked off with an introduction about Farmer Angel Network. The lobby was full of farming fellowship before and after the movie.
"Green and Gold," a 2025 American drama film is a heartfelt story of a community coming together around a fourth-generation dairy farmer and his granddaughter fighting foreclosure to preserve their way of life. he film is deeply connected to Wisconsin, having been shot in various locations across the state. Culver's, a beloved Wisconsin-based restaurant chain, is a major sponsor of the film. Their involvement is part of the "Thank You Farmers Project," which supports agricultural education and sustainability. Trigger warning as it includes scenes of suicide attempt.
