Farm Rescue Now Serving Wisconsin Farmers

August 13, 2024 - Reedsburg, WI - Farmer Angel Network board members met with Tim Sullivan of Farm Rescue, a nonprofit organization that provides free planting, haying, harvesting, commodity hauling and livestock feeding assistance to farm families who have experienced a major illness, injury or natural disaster.


Mr. Sullivan shared with the group that Farm Rescue has officially added Wisconsin to the states that it serves. The group discussed ways to collaborate and share this much needed resource with Wisconsin farmers in crisis.


Operations began as of July 1, 2024. With the addition of Wisconsin, Farm Rescue and its volunteer workforce will now serve a total of 9 states, including Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, South Dakota and Wisconsin.


Any farm family experiencing a major injury, illness or natural disaster is encouraged to apply for assistance at farmrescue.org or by calling 701-252-2017. Referrals are also welcome.

The organization’s mission is to help farmers and ranchers who have experienced a major illness, injury, or natural disaster by providing the necessary equipment and volunteer labor to perform time-sensitive services.
