June 11, 2024 - Farmer Angel Network is proud to announce it is now officially a non-profit under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. This major milestone for our growing network brings many benefits both for the network and our generous donors. These include:
Tax-deductible donations for our donors
Exemption from federal, state and local sales and income taxes
Eligibility to receive donations / grants from sources that are only available to non-profits
Access to non-profit discounts for operating expenses which allows more funds to go directly toward farm aid
Discounted postage rates
Limited personal liability for the volunteers leading the network
