Rev. Dr. Shear has lived and work in rural areas all my adult life, and have cared for many farm families during my career as a family physician. Her current role is an ordained United Methodist deacon supports justice and compassion ministries such as this, and helps to promote community health and wellness of body, mind and spirit. Her grandfather's German immigrant family farmed in eastern Nebraska.

Rev. Dr. Shear is proud to support Farmer Angel Network's grassroots mission to aid struggling farm families and work to prevent emotional distress and suicide.
