Veterinarian, Herd Based Diagnostics Program, Wisconsin Farm Center
Lynae collaborates with dairy farmers throughout Wisconsin as a Consulting Veterinarian for the Herd Based Diagnostics Program through the Wisconsin Farm Center at DATCP. She practiced as a food animal veterinarian for the past 30 years primarily with dairy. She has a master’s in public health for practicing veterinarians. Lynae grew up on a dairy and swine farm in northeast Iowa and was active in 4-H and FFA.
Mental health is especially important, and Lynae realizes the impact that it has on all those involved in farming. She works to increase awareness of mental health resources in our community.
Lynae and her husband Tim have two adult sons, Edwin, and Brandon. They have two dogs, live on an acreage in Sauk County. She enjoys vegetable and flower gardening. This past spring, they started a small flock of laying hens and are learning all about chickens. She enjoys spending time with her husband, sons and being outdoors.
